Katy Perry was not present at the Met Gala and made a point of clarifying anyone who had doubts. This is because images appeared that were supposed to be of the singer at the event, but were nothing more than montages with the help of artificial intelligence.
On her Instagram page, the artist showed the aforementioned fake images and also an alleged exchange of messages with her mother
“I didn’t know you were going to the Met. What a beautiful dress”, read the message from the singer’s mother.
Katy responded to explain that it was artificial intelligence and for her mother to be careful because she had also been ‘caught’. “I couldn’t go to the Met, I had work,” the artist further explained.
The international press also highlights that Katy Perry was not the only ‘victim’ of artificial intelligence. Rihanna was also the target of such a ‘joke’, pretending that the singer had been at the gala.
Remember that the last time Katy Perry went to the event was in 2022. Rihanna was last seen at the Met Gala last year.
