Camilla Cabelo did not go unnoticed on the red carpet at the Met Gala, which takes place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York, in the United States, this Monday (06.05). The Cuban singer appeared stunning wearing a dress studded with 6kg of Swarovski crystals. In an interview with AND!she said that the look was created with 250,000 crystals over 20 days.

The artist combined the outfit with an exotic accessory: a clutch made of ice. Camilla arrived at the event holding a block of ice with a frozen rose inside. According to her, the objective was for the block to melt with the heat of her body as she walked through the event until she was left with a rose in her hands.

The singer was among the night’s 450 guests — all of whom were individually approved by Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue America and who has directed the Met Gala since 1995. The theme of this year’s party is Sleeping Beauties: The Awakening of Fashion, the same as the exhibition opened at the museum during the event, and refers to the pieces in the collection that cannot – or almost never – be exposed due to their fragility.
