Visibly in a good mood and at Camilla’s side, Carlos III fulfills tradition

Fighting cancer, diagnosed at the beginning of February, Charles III followed tradition and opened the Buckingham Palace gardens for the first “Garden Party” of the year.

As the official Instagram page of the English royal family explains, “Every summer, guests who have made a positive impact on their community are invited to spend a relaxed afternoon in the beautiful gardens of Buckingham Palace.”

And yesterday afternoon, Camilla and Charles III joined the princess A-N-Athe Dukes of Edinburgh, and the Duchess of Gloucester at the first “Garden Party” of the season.

Interestingly, the party took place on the same day that the prince Harry returned to the United Kingdom for the Invictus Games anniversary celebrations, but was not invited. In the same way that no member of the Windsors was present at the religious ceremony that marked the 10th anniversary of the event, at St Paul’s Cathedral, in London, and which Harry’s maternal uncles attended.
