Arapongas City Hall has invested in sustainable, innovative solutions that generate savings. One example is the revitalization of public lighting, with the replacement of old luminaires with conventional lamps with LED lighting. In a total investment of R$ 2,660,777.90, the package of infrastructure improvements focused on lighting has already arrived in several neighborhoods, also allowing greater safety on numerous urban roads. Mayor Sérgio Onofre reinforces that the measure comes to accompany the city’s development, in addition to numerous benefits for the population and municipal management. “We want LED to reach the entire city. This generates enormous savings, combined with efficiency, sustainability and adequate safety. A commitment made and which we have strengthened”, he said.

Also according to the Municipal Department of Works, Transport and Urban Development (Seodur), a new stage of services is already scheduled for next week in the Jardim Baronesa and Casa Grande region.

A Zin, Jardim Planalto, Parque das Nações, streets of Vila Aparecida (Ruas Pavo; Pauxi; Petrel; Picanço; Cotinga; Cruza Bico; Calau; and Dindiculo (Jd. do Café), Rua Rouxinol (Vila Cascata), Rua Pica pau do Campo (Cj. Palmares) and Jardim Aeroporto street.
