Arapongas City Hall advances with revitalization of Public Lighting; total investment of R$2.6 million

Arapongas City Hall has invested in sustainable, innovative solutions that generate savings. One example is the revitalization of public lighting, with the replacement of old luminaires with conventional lamps with LED lighting. In a total investment of R$ 2,660,777.90, the package of infrastructure improvements focused on lighting has already arrived in several neighborhoods, also allowing greater safety on numerous urban roads. Mayor Sérgio Onofre reinforces that the measure comes to accompany the city’s development, in addition to numerous benefits for the population and municipal management. “We want LED to reach the entire city. This generates enormous savings, combined with efficiency, sustainability and adequate safety. A commitment made and which we have strengthened”, he said.

With the stage started and completed in Jardim Bandeirantes, the services also recently arrived in the regions of Conjunto Ulysses Guimarães and Jardim Santo Antônio, serving the streets Rua Açurana (Jardim Santo Antônio), Rua Saura Fogo (Jardim Santo Antônio), Rua Garibaldi (Jardim Santo Antônio), Rua Mateiro (Jardim Santo Antônio), Rua Anu Preto (Jardim Santo Antônio), Rua Piu Piu (Jardim Santo Antônio), Rua Macauá (Jardim Santo Antônio), Rua Jacumirim (Jardim Santo Antônio), Rua Caminheiro Ocre – ( Conjunto Ulysses Guimaraes), Rua Guará Vermelho (Conjunto Ulysses Guimarães), Rua Andarilho (Conjunto Ulysses Guimarães), Rua Canastreiro (Conjunto Ulysses Guimarães), Rua Guará Vermelho (Conjunto Ulysses Guimarães), Rua Jaçanã Preta (Conjunto Ulysses Guimarães), Rua Pinguim de Penacho (Conjunto Ulysses Guimarães), Rua Caminheiro Ocre (Conjunto Ulysses Guimarães), Rua Andarilho (Conjunto Ulysses Guimarães), Rua Becuá (Conjunto Ulysses Guimarães), Rua Canastreiro (Conjunto Ulysses Guimarães), Rua Guará Vermelho (Conjunto Ulysses Guimarães), Rua Estalinho (Conjunto Ulysses Guimarães), Rua Primavera (Conjunto Ulysses Guimarães), Rua Pintadinho ( Conjunto Ulysses Guimarães), Rua Tapera Garganta Branca 9Conjunto Ulysses Guimarães), Rua Dituí (Conjunto Ulysses Guimarães), in addition to two streets in Parque Veneza (Rua Fruteira and Rua Sabia da Praia).

Also according to the Municipal Department of Works, Transport and Urban Development (Seodur), a new stage of services is already scheduled for next week in the Jardim Baronesa and Casa Grande region.

A Zin, Jardim Planalto, Parque das Nações, streets of Vila Aparecida (Ruas Pavo; Pauxi; Petrel; Picanço; Cotinga; Cruza Bico; Calau; and Dindiculo (Jd. do Café), Rua Rouxinol (Vila Cascata), Rua Pica pau do Campo (Cj. Palmares) and Jardim Aeroporto street.
