Municipality carries out ‘Juazeiro is + Health’ action

From April 29th to May 4th, the Municipality will promote the ‘Juazeiro é + Saúde’ action. The event aims to reduce the wait for exams and appointments for patients on the waiting list. The collective effort will take place at the Ginásio Municipal Professor Santana, on Rua Princesa Isabel S/N – São Miguel, from 7:30 am to 5 pm.

The initiative is aimed at patients who have a protocol and ID number on the waiting list. The expectation is to serve approximately 22 thousand people. 30 service counters will be available for the general public and 5 for preferential groups, such as the elderly, pregnant women, people with children and people with disabilities.

Patients on the waiting list must check their protocol number and/or ID at the nearest Basic Health Unit.

Andrea Landim, head of Health, highlights the importance of the action: “We are carrying out this major mobilization to clear the waiting list. The aim is to schedule procedures for patients who are already waiting in the system, that is, those who already have a protocol We hope to serve these 22 thousand people who appear in our records”, he reinforces.

The service will be distributed by day, according to the alphabetical order of the patient’s name:

– Monday (04/29): A, B, C, Y

– Tuesday (04/30): D, E, F, G, W

– Wednesday (1/05): H, I, J, K, L

– Thursday (2/05): M, N, O

– Friday (3/05): P, Q, R, S

– Saturday (4/05): T, U, V, X, Z

In addition to the services of the Department of Health, the Department of Development and Labor will be present every day, offering children’s activities through the Happy Child Program; and the Single Registry, providing services relating to the municipality’s Social Assistance benefits.
