Arapiraca will host the 2nd Exhibition of the German Shepherd Breed of the North and Northeast of the country

Arapiraca will host next Saturday (04), at Clube do Servidor, in Caeti I, the 2nd Stage of the German Shepherd Breed Exhibition in the North and Northeast regions of the country.

The event in partnership with Arapiraca City Hall, through the Municipal Sports Secretariat, and the Clube Alagoano de Pastor Alemão (CAPA) will promote the Arapiraca Centenary Cup, in allusion to the 100 years of the Capital of Agreste.

The exhibition will feature trained dogs from representatives of the states of Alagoas (AL), Ceará (CE), Rio Grande do Norte (RN), Paraíba (PB), Pernambuco (PE), Sergipe (SE) and Bahia (BA). Trophies will be distributed to participants.

Arapiraca’s Sports Secretary, Josenildo Souza, highlighted that the event will bring excitement to the city with the presence of breeders of the German Shepherd breed from the seven northeastern states, for the first time in the city.

“It is the first time that Arapiraca holds an exhibition of this level of German Shepherd dogs with the presence of breeders from states in the Northeast and we hope that everyone can come and enjoy this significant event”, stated Josenildo Souza.

City centenary

In an interview with the press, the president of the Alagoano German Shepherd Club (CAPA), Manoel Bezerra, reported the importance of the German Shepherd breed since its creation for the animal’s beauty, as well as for personal and property security. The exhibition will pay homage to Arapiraca.

“This second stage of the North Northeast exhibition will be very important to be held here in Arapiraca due to its geographical position, in addition to honoring the city for its centenary with the Arapiraca Centenary Cup”, said Manoel Bezerra.

The breeder of the German Shepherd breed from Arapiraca, Virgílio Araújo, participated in the press conference and brought four animals to show the training and beauty of each one.

“This exhibition will be a marriage with the city hall and CAPA so that Arapiraca can hold an event of this size every year and show our potential in breeding the German shepherd”, stated Virgílio Araújo.
