Barron Trump, the youngest son, enters politics and will nominate his father as a candidate for president

The Florida Republican Party designated Barron Trump, an 18-year-old high school student, to be one of the delegates called to officially nominate his father, Donald, as their US presidential candidate.

Barron Trump’s presence on the list of 42 names, alongside his older brothers Eric and Don Jr., highlights the importance of family in the political dynasty that the former president is trying to establish, who also recently named his stepdaughter Lara as co-president of the Republican Party at the national level.

According to the American television station NBC, Barron Trump is expected to attend his university’s graduation ceremony next week, after turning 18 in March.

This is the first time that Donald Trump’s youngest son has gained media attention.

Ivanka Trump, her father’s advisor when he was in the White House, but now away from politics, is not on the list of names for the presidential candidacy.

These three sons of Donald Trump – like all delegates to the Florida Republican Party convention – will join hundreds of other delegates to formally inaugurate their candidate within two months, following his victory in the primary elections.

This party convention will take place in Milwaukee, July 15-18.

As in 2020, Donald Trump will face the Democratic candidate and current White House tenant, Joe Biden, in the presidential elections on November 5th.
