Things you shouldn’t store in the oven drawer:
- Cooking oils are, in general, highly flammable;
- Wooden cutting boards can be damaged by high temperatures;
- Cling film, like other objects made from plastic, is easily damaged by high temperatures;
- Cleaning products like dish detergent, hand sanitizer, and many chemicals found in cleaning solutions are highly flammable;
- Kitchen cloths are often in contact with substances such as oil and fat. Even after washing they are flammable;
- Alcoholic drinks, especially those with a higher volume, are flammable;
- Plastic containers are capable of melting and becoming damaged in the heat.
