Nuno Pereira, a well-known SIC journalist, was on the ‘Casa Feliz’ program today, March 19th, talking to Diana Chaves about her daughters. Moved, the communicator spoke of the immense love he has for his two daughters, the result of previous relationships, regretting not having closely followed their growth.
“All these absences are a huge suffering, of not being able to be there, of not being able to see”, he said, visibly moved.
“I was a single father and suffered a lot due to the absence of my daughters. I hit a lot of headbutts against the wall, which is something that is rarely talked about, about a father who separates from his mother and is left without his children”, he adds, talking about the less good side of shared custody.
“Years and years and years go by when you go to bed, go into the room and they’re not there. And you can only pick them up on the weekend because it was the parental agreement that was made. There’s the mother alone and the father alone too “advance.
“You lose a lot of your children’s things that shouldn’t be lost, but that’s part of it. In the future we will all be able to compensate each other for all these absences that were forced to happen among us”, he adds.
