ASome of the senior members of royalty gathered this Sunday morning, March 31, at Windsor Castle, to celebrate Easter in a religious ceremony that took place in St. George’s Chapel.

One of the details that caught attention in this public appearance is that the women chose green looks.

Why?

According to Hello! magazine, this was a symbolic way of honoring Prince Philip, husband of Queen Elizabeth II.

The color was used in the uniforms of the Duke of Edinburgh’s servants (the title now belongs to his youngest son, Prince Edward) and was present in the carriage at his funeral, in April 2021.
