Queen Letizia is 51 years old and Princess Leonor is 18. A total of 33 years separate mother and daughter, but there is one piece of clothing that unites them and shows that age is (really) just a number.
Both appeared in a Zara striped sweater, the only difference being the choice of color: Letizia opted for the model with a black background and white stripes and Princess Leonor for the opposite combination.
The ageless piece was adapted to each person’s style, with Queen Letizia wearing the shirt with jeansfur coat and boots, all in black, and the eldest daughter wore some jeans in light denim, white sneakers, a black quilted jacket and a colorful scarf.
Even though they are looks relaxed, with a simple timeless piece of clothing mother and daughter follow one of the fashion trends for 2024, stripes, which were presented in the spring fashion shows of brands such as Ralph Lauren, Carven and Louis Vuitton. Although this year’s focus is on wide graphic stripes, any pattern that features stripes is valid for the season.
