Queen Letizia is facing a difficult phase when it comes to her health and proof of this was the recent trip of the kings of Spain to the Netherlands. The woman of Felipe VI was forced to stay sitting on a chairduring the greetings of the Dutch kings’ guests for the gala dinner, due to the unbearable pain he suffers caused by Morton’s neuroma.
It is impossible to deny Letizia’s tiredness and, as such, journalist Pilar de Eyre, in the magazine ‘Lecturas’, advised the monarch to take a break, while at the same time regaining strength. “Having cameras and a thousand eyes analyzing in detail and scrutinizing the smallest detail, multiplies discomfort to infinity”wrote the royal affairs expert. “For 20 years, the queen has given her body to bullets, facing complicated situations, virulent criticism, family tragedies and marital problems. She needs time to withdraw from public life and undergo medical care, as other family members have done royals, Mette Marit from Norway or Carlos from England. If so, we will all applaud her”finally said Pilar de Eyre.
The truth is that, this week, Letizia had a much less busy schedule, a sign that her health problems forced her to slow down.
