The last episode of the Podcast Series: “PODMUHER”, had women’s health as its central theme, with a focus on preventing physical and mental illnesses. He also highlighted the Lilac March campaign, on the prevention of cervical cancer. The guests were Chayane Dedonatto, gynecologist and obstetrician, Carla Rosseto, pelvic physiotherapist and Luciana Saccon, Manager of Articulation and Educational Management.

Chayane highlighted the importance of taking care of women’s health since adolescence. “All women, regardless of age, should consult a gynecologist they trust to undergo routine examinations and thus prevent diseases. This month, I highlight the “Lilac March” campaign, about raising awareness about cervical cancer, which is the third most common cancer affecting women,” she said.

Physiotherapist Carla commented that another important aspect is caring for physical and emotional health. “Practicing physical exercise for a few minutes every day, such as taking a short walk, choosing stairs instead of elevators, or, if possible, going to a gym are important attitudes. Furthermore, having a balanced diet and adequate sleep are essential for increasing self-esteem and, consequently, physical well-being,” she said.

Luciana mentioned that nowadays there are many resources, including free ones, that help women organize their routine. “Nowadays, there are apps and websites that offer health tips for free. They are important tools that contribute to decision-making and also to female education. An example I can give is knowing how to say ‘no’ at times without feeling guilty, which is also a way of taking care of your health,” she commented.

Astrit Tozzo, Secretary of Education, highlighted the importance of the PODMUHER Series, this March. “We prepared all the podcast episodes with great care, because in addition to providing important information about women’s health, our intention was to show that we women need to help and take care of each other. We have many responsibilities and commitments on a daily basis, but we cannot forget to look at ourselves and love ourselves,” she added.
