In commemoration of National Health and Nutrition Day, the Quality of Life Secretariat of the Court of Justice of Roraima (SQV/TJRR), promoted this Tuesday, April 2nd, the lecture entitled “Nutrition Beyond Calories”. The in-person event took place at the Judicial School of Roraima (EJURR) and was broadcast live on the Roraima Judiciary channel, on the YouTube platform.

The action aimed to raise awareness about the importance of a healthy and balanced diet to promote well-being and quality of life.

The lecture was given by nutritionist and master in Food Sciences, Flávia Amaro, who highlighted the importance of seeing food as something broader and more diverse.

“It is essential that people see food as something broader than counting calories, so we need to demystify some things and try to vary our diet”, said the nutritionist.

TJRR’s Undersecretary of Quality of Life, Perla Lima, highlighted the relevance of discussing food with employees, highlighting its direct impact on quality of life.

“Talking about eating habits is fundamental, because in the rush of everyday life, some people end up neglecting their own diet, generating several negative consequences”, reinforced the undersecretary.

For the project manager of the Institutional Projects Center (NPI), Mário Massarato, the lecture stood out for its dynamic nature, offering a practical opportunity to reevaluate your eating habits.

“I found it very interesting, because through practice I was able to evaluate my diet, and consequently, my health as well”, said the server
