Child honors smoke car employees on birthday in Bahia

Complete with a themed cake and costumes, little Pedro Fialho, who turns 4 on Friday (5), paid homage to his endemic agent friends, who work in the smoke car, at his early birthday party, held this Wednesday ( 3), at the school where he studies, in the city of Feira de Santana, 100 km from Salvador.

In conversation with the g1Pedro’s father, psychologist and neuroscientist Kleber Fialho, said that the little one’s birth date is April 5th, but the family had the party this Wednesday as it is the day of the week that the school offers for celebrations at the institution.

Dressed as an endemic agent, Pedro was given a replica of a backpack bomb (an object that looks like a backpack and which agents put insecticide in to combat mosquitoes), he “applied” insecticide to the person dressed as Aedes aegypti and the party even included the participation of Maria Gotinha, female version of the popular Zé Gotinha (vaccination campaign mascot).

The idea of honoring endemic agents came from Pedro himself, who, upon learning about the work to combat dengue, zika and chikungunya, decided to change the theme of the anniversary.

“He’s very creative, he doesn’t stop. He came up with the idea talking to me in the car, I tried to convince him to do Zé Comilão, Batman, but there was no way”, revealed Kleber Fialho.

Passionate about discovering professions, Pedro has already asked his parents for a wheelbarrow to accompany the caretaker of the condominium he lives in, in the Brasília neighborhood, and makes easy friends with the people he meets.

“Since he was little, he has always liked people, he has always asked the reason for each profession. He likes to talk to everyone, it has always been like that, since he was little”, said the boy’s father.

“When the smoke came, he came to ask the reason for the smoke. We talked and he made friends with the endemic agents.”

With the theme decided, Kleber Fialho’s mission was to organize his son’s party. The result pleased the boy. The certainty was conveyed in the smile that appeared on the face when seeing the cake, the costumes and the illustrious presence of the honored friends.

“I had to look for the costumes, the cake, I called the endemic agents and he thought it was great. He kept saying that he killed the dengue mosquito with the smoke”, said the birthday boy’s father.

Passion for art and professions

Boy dresses up as a doctor to visit grandmother in hospital in Bahia

Pedro will have plenty of time to decide what profession he will pursue when he is an adult. For now, he is playfully experimenting with possible scenarios for the future.

A year and a half ago, his paternal grandmother, Célia Fialho, was hospitalized for two months in a private hospital with a serious lung problem. Grandma’s recovery came after a visit from the “little doctor” Pedro. [Veja no vídeo acima]

“He likes to reproduce professions. He has a cousin who is a doctor, his grandmother got sick and was hospitalized in Salvador and he wanted to dress up as a doctor to give her the vaccine. That’s when she got better and that moved me a lot”, recalled the father of the boy.

But if he has to bet on the profession his son will pursue, Kleber Fialho believes he will be the father of an artist. Since the boy has shown interest in musical instruments.

“Pedro is extremely attentive and has enjoyed arts since he was little. His room is full of toy musical instruments: guitar, accordion, drums, saxophone.”
