Drivers will have doses of flu vaccine available from 9am to 12pm; vaccination station will be set up at km 5+500 of the highway, at the access point to Estrada do Cestarolli

The Rota das Bandeiras Concessionaire and the City of Louveira signed a new partnership to carry out a flu vaccination campaign for drivers traveling along the Romildo Prado highway (SP-063), which connects the municipalities of Louveira and Itatiba. The action will take place next Tuesday, April 30th, from 9am to 12pm. This is the fourth time that the Concessionaire and City Hall have worked together to immunize highway users since 2020.

The vaccination station will be set up at km 5+500 of the highway, on the East lane (direction Itatiba), at the access point to the Cestarolli road, and the doses will be administered by technicians from the Louveira Health Department. The location will be marked by Rota das Bandeiras teams and the action will also have the support of the Military Highway Police. To be immunized, the driver simply needs to present a photo ID or vaccination card.

Truck drivers will be the priority focus of the action, considering that they spend most of their time on the road and often do not have time to travel to a health unit during business hours for care. However, every driver who stops at the location can be immunized. The campaign on the highway also reinforces the actions of Louveira City Hall to expand vaccination coverage in the municipality among children, young people and adults, an important measure for disease prevention.

“Our work prioritizes ensuring safe travel for everyone traveling along the Dom Pedro Corridor. And we are convinced that drivers who are in good health reduce the risk of being involved in accidents on the highway. Therefore, we highlight partnerships like this with Louveira City Hall”, says the Communications and Institutional Relations manager at Rota das Bandeiras, Stephan Campineiro.
