A Jaguariúna City Hall, through the Municipal Health Department, is holding another campaign against dengue this Saturday, April 27th. This time, homes in the Vila Guilherme and Miguel Martini neighborhoods will be visited.
The action will take place from 8am to 4pm and aims to combat outbreaks of the Aedes aegypti mosquito, which transmits dengue, chikungunya and zika.
The Department of Health asks residents to collaborate with the work of health agents, allowing them to enter their homes to inspect backyards in search of possible mosquito outbreaks.
In the joint effort, health agents also provide information to the population about diseases transmitted by Aedes Aegypti and how to avoid the accumulation of water in places or containers.
The population can also register complaints and point out possible mosquito breeding sites by calling (19) 99783-2319.
