Student William Andrade Lucena, from the Professional Higher Technical Course in Illustration and Graphic Production at the Escola Superior de Educação de Viana do Castelo, was the winner for the month of March, with the illustration “Fencing” for the Inapa 2024 Calendar, with the theme of Olympic Games taking place in Paris this year.

In this edition, students from ESE’s CTeSP of Illustration and Graphic Production were invited to participate with 12 other polytechnics and universities from Portugal and Spain, in the development of illustration proposals for the Inapa Calendar. To carry out this project, the work of more than 500 students at Iberian level was evaluated, who presented proposals for the 12 themes of Olympic sports illustrated in each month and on the cover of the “Inapa Olympic Games” calendar.

The Inapa Calendar is a project developed in the Graphic Production curricular unit, accompanied and guided by professor Sérgio Dias from ESE. For this project, students on the Illustration and Graphic Production course received training in partnership with Inapa in the graphic area: paper, printing types and finishes. Each student presented their proposal arguing their creativity, the chosen paper and printing technique.

The Inapa Group is one of the leading companies in the distribution of paper in Europe and products for graphic arts, packaging and visual communication.
