The period for submitting expressions of interest in joining the PRR Housing Intervention Program (PIH) – Recovery and Resilience Plan, integrated into Component 3 – Social Responses, Investment RE-C03-, is open until April 19th. i02: 360º accessibility, informed Braga City Council.

This is a program that aims to improve accessibility in homes for people with disabilities and/or permanent disabilities, throughout mainland Portugal, with the aim of supporting interventions in at least 1,000 homes.

The program is intended, among others, for alteration/construction works that improve accessibility outside and inside homes, replacing windows, installing stairlifts, visual/light alarm signaling systems, expanding compartments, replacing floors or replacing interior doors.

The rules applicable to this financial support can be consulted here. The application model is available on the Braga Municipality portal here. Expressions of interest can be made through Balcão Único Online, upon prior online user registration (and after validation of this registration by municipal services, if you have not already done so).

The amount of approved financial support corresponds to 100% of eligible expenses, after applying the limits foreseen for each eligible intervention, up to a maximum limit of 15,500 euros per house to be intervened.
