In addition to this subsidy, the Tondela municipality will also provide another 120 thousand euros (also maintained compared to 2023) for the programming of the Novo Ciclo, which is part of the Portuguese Theaters and Cineteatros Network.
The amount will support exhibitions and the Finta and Tom de Festa festivals, in addition to artistic residencies, co-productions and ACERT’s general programming.
The Chamber will also grant support in kind: one in the amount of 17,205 euros for the provision of the Creative Arts Workshop and the maintenance of the New Cycle and another of 3,761 euros for Tom de Festa, through the use of goods and services, physical spaces, equipment, transport and technical means, among others.
The municipality chaired by Carla Antunes Borges also approved this Tuesday a protocol worth 4,367 euros with the Serra do Caramulo Study and Interpretation Center for the implementation of the security and fire protection system in buildings.
Protocols relating to school social action for first cycle students for the current academic year were approved with the municipality’s school groups, with a total amount of more than 15,700 euros.
At the previous Chamber meeting, the municipal executive had also approved the support to be given to the Firefighters of Tondela and Vale de Besteiros, in the amount of 191 thousand euros, supporting them in carrying out activities and investments proposed by the two corporations.
