Comic Con Portugal 2024 starts tomorrow at Exponor, in Porto. Here’s everything you’ll find at the venue!
This edition of the biggest national and Iberian pop culture event celebrates 10 years of existence. Comic Con Portugal 2024 returns to Porto to celebrate 10 years of fun, joy and lots of cosplay. Therefore, Exponor will host the event among March 21st and 24th.
We recently had a conversation with CEO Paulo Rocha Cardoso, who is happy with what has been done but aims for even more – “At present, there is still a lot of public who recognize the Comic Con Portugal brand, but are not aware of our event and everything we offer. We want to take Pop Culture across the country.”
This year, Exponor will open in its entirety (and even part of it abroad) to welcome visitors in search of the best that has been done and will be done in entertainment, from television to gaming. So this is what you will find around the Comic Con Portugal 2024 venue!
STANDS, STANDS AND MORE STANDS!
Several national and international brands will have a dedicated space at Comic Con Portugal 2024, such as AXN, Cigala Banzai Noodle, Couto, Cinemas NOS, Doritos, Hasbro Gaming, FNAC, Musa, Oreo, Red Bull, Samsung, Sony, SyFy, Warner Bros and much more! A little throughout the venue you will find a little bit of each entertainment area. Highlighting the space that the LEGO Group will have, several activities for the whole family.
Visitors will find a life-size replica of the famous Ford Anglia from Harry Potter and an exhibition of sets, within the imagination of Comic Con Portugal, with ranges such as LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Icons, LEGO DREAMZzz and LEGO Animal Crossing. Already tomorrowat 2:45 p.m.in The One Theater auditorium, the LEGO Potterhead Challenge will take place.
The brand challenged Olímpio Alexandre, Luís Baixinho and Pedro Teixeira – the authors of the podcast Conversations in Construction – and Romão Santos, the LEGO Model Maker who built the 6 kg Francesinha on display at the LEGO Certified Store in NorteShopping, participating in challenges proposed by the public, in which they will have to improvise constructions alluding to this universe of magic.
But have another type of initiatives by brands! For example, Couto toothpaste designed the bathroom signs, because Comic Con Portugal is the place where you can be whoever you want (Be whatever you want). In this sense, Couto and Comic Con Portugal came together to remind visitors to take care and use their best smile, making bathroom signs more fun and “super”.
UPS, one of the best-known delivery services in the world and in cinema, will have a van adapted to popular culture! Fans will be able to take photos with a movie star, present in many films, without waiting in line, with the iconic brown van that patiently waits for them.
THE PERSONALITIES PRESENT
As usual, you will have the opportunity to listen to and even speak to your favorite content creators and actors.
On the gaming side, you will have the opportunity to meet Marco Fresco, André Pinto, Nicole Concha, among others. From cinema and television, Finn Jones, Ed Westwick, Evanna Lynch, André Lamoglia, Anna Shaffer, Raymond Lee, among others, will be present.

Of course, the best merchandising could not be missing from the biggest pop culture event in the country. There you will find stalls selling manga, consoles and games of the most varied styles and eras, clothes and collectible figures!
