The ACDR of Rapoula, in the municipality of Guarda, is promoting a Health and Social Fair until Sunday –

The Cultural, Sports and Recreational Association of Rapoula, in the municipality of Guarda, promotes between today and Sunday, a Health and Social Fair, in the São Marcos pavilion.

This year the theme is “A new look at healthcare and social intervention in low-density areas”.

One of the new features is the fact that the Fair will now last three days, as stated by Ricardo Maio, from the organization. For tomorrow and Sunday, several activities are scheduled. In addition to these initiatives, there will also be an exhibition of paintings that will act as a type of therapy. Various entities will be present during the event, including security forces, as highlighted by Ricardo Maio. Expectations are high, especially given the Fair’s three-day duration. Companies, services and projects in the social and health areas will be publicized; demonstration of sporting activities; book presentation; workshops; simulacra; carrying out screenings and activities to promote healthy lifestyles. The fair begins today with a workshop/training in palliative care, in partnership with the National Association of Social Gerontology.
