Carlos Sainz Sr., Sebastion Loeb and Al-Attiyah confirmed at Rally-Raid Portugal

Drivers join the list of 169 names that will participate in the third round of the Off-Road World Championship, which will be held between April 2nd and 7th

Spaniard Carlos Sainz, Frenchman Sebastien Loeb and Nasser Al-Attiyah are drivers on the list of 169 names confirmed in the Rally-Raid Portugal, the third round of the off-road World Championship, which takes place in Portuguese territory between 2 April 7th.

The leader and winner of Dakar2024 – who made history by being the first to win the competition with four different brands (Volkswagen, Peugeot, MINI and Audi) – will be behind the wheel of the X-Raid Mini. Loeb, former world rally champion, will debut in a Taurus in the Challenger category.

Qatari Nasser Al-Attiyah, two-time world champion and five-time winner of the Dakar – and who won the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge – is another of the main candidates for victory.

National hope lies in João Ferreira, sailed by Filipe Palmeiro. The Portuguese duo returns to the Mini after having won the first two World Cup races, in the Dakar and in Abu Dhabi, in the SSV category, with a Can-Am. The event is divided into five stages with a total of 1758 kilometers.
