Ponte de Lima was present at the meeting of Portuguese Regional Products and Rurality in France: Gazeta Rural

Ponte de Lima, as in previous years, was present at the Portuguese Regional and Rural Products Fair, which took place from March 22 to 24, 2024, in Nanterre, France.

The Municipality of Ponte de Lima presented itself with the Mercado Agrolimiano, publicizing and promoting the endogenous products of Lima’s gastronomy, as well as the heritage, culture and identity of the municipality.

The Ponte de Lima delegation accompanied by the Mayor of Ponte de Lima, Eng. Vasco Ferraz, presented a group of companies linked to the production of the famous Vinho Verde, honey and sausages and smoked meats, through a display of products traditional, allowing emigrants to remember their land and its uses and customs, as well as opening new doors for the commercialization and export of these local products.

The Fair, organized by the Associação Recreativa e Cultural dos Originários de Portugal (ARCOP), based in Nanterre, aims to promote traditional Portuguese gastronomy products, Portuguese popular culture, such as traditional music and dances, providing conviviality between emigrants Portuguese in France.
