Communication Days return to the Polytechnic of Portalegre from the 2nd to the 4th of April

On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of April, the Communication Days celebrate another edition, the 28th, of this event promoted by Journalism and Communication degree students.

The Abílio Amiguinho auditorium of the Higher School of Education and Social Sciences will once again be the stage for this initiative which this year takes place under the theme “Journalism and Communication in the composition of the contemporary world”.

The program includes four debates and two workshops dedicated to topics such as Artificial Intelligence, the News Desert, Immersive Journalism, impartiality in newsrooms, among others.

Over the course of these three days, several professionals in the field will attend the Communication Journeys and debate the proposed themes. Among those present, Tiago Silva, journalist from Jornal Alto Alentejo, Ticiana Xavier, reporter at TVI, Ana Sofia Paiva, professional in the field of Immersive Journalism, Marco Gouveia, specialized in SEO and digital marketing consultant, Ricardo Cabral Fernandes, director from the digital newspaper Setenta e Quatro, Tomás da Cunha, commentator on DAZN, among other notable names in the areas of Journalism and Communication.

As usual, the Communication Days are also a moment of recognition for personalities and/or companies from both areas. This year, Journalism and Communication Tributes will be awarded to two projects that stand out in the two areas mentioned. The prizes will be awarded in the Cloisters of the Convent of Santa Clara.
