Turismo Centro de Portugal is one of the tourism regions with the best reputation in Portugal, according to the RepScore 2024 study, carried out by the consultancy OnStrategy.

With a score of 73.7 points, on a scale of up to 100, Turismo do Centro is positioned as the fourth best rated region, following Turismo do Porto e Norte (74.5), Turismo de Lisboa (74.2 ) and Tourism of the Azores (74.1). It should be noted that the assessment of Turismo do Centro increased, as it was 71.8 points in 2023.

Cities in the Central region of Portugal are also on the rise in this study. Aveiro, with 74 points, occupies third place among the best rated cities, right after Porto and Viana do Castelo. The list of the 10 cities with the best reputation also includes, among others, Leiria (73), Viseu (73) and Coimbra (72.9), all in Central Portugal.

Two tourist attractions in the region are highlighted in the “Art & Culture” category. The Batalha Monastery leads this ranking, with 74.2 points, while the Alcobaça Monastery (73.2) takes fourth place, behind the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Jerónimos Monastery and ahead of the Serralves Foundation.

It should also be noted that the University of Coimbra leads the “Schools & Universities” category, with 77 points.

RepScore 2024 is a study that evaluates the reputation of brands in Portugal, considering their emotional and rational perception among more than 50 thousand citizens, online and in person/by telephone, in continuous work during the 52 weeks of the year. Respondents are representative of Portuguese society, in terms of geographic distribution, gender, age and level of training.
