Sekurit Service and Glassdrive Portugal elect new general director

Rita Bastos, previously director of Saint-Gobain Solutions, now assumes roles at Sekurit Service and Glassdrive Portugal

Saint-Gobain Sekurit Service Portugal and Glassdrive Portugal have a new general director. Rita Bastos, previously director of Saint-Gobain Solutions, whose activity focuses on the construction sector and industrial markets, now assumes roles at Sekurit Service, a company specialized in the production and distribution of automotive glass, and at Glassdrive, a company focused on replacement and car glass repair.

With a four-year professional career at Saint-Gobain Portugal, Rita Bastos previously worked in industries such as ceramics, watchmaking, jewelry and cork. Prior to her role at the French multinational, she held the position of Global Marketing Manager at Amorim Cork Composites. She has a degree in Communication Design from the University of Porto, a master’s degree in Marketing and Advertising from the University of Barcelona, ​​a postgraduate degree in Marketing Management from Porto Business School and in Finance from Nova SBE.

“I feel very grateful and happy for the opportunity to take on new roles at the Saint-Gobain Group, which has been my home in recent years. I hope that my integration, together with the collaboration of an excellent multidisciplinary team, will contribute to the ambitious results we have planned for Portugal in the coming years”, stated Rita Bastos.

Saint-Gobain Sekurit Service operates in the production and distribution of automotive glass. Glassdrive is an international brand, owned by the Saint-Gobain Group, a leader in automotive glass repair and replacement services. Saint-Gobain CASA (Claim Accident Service Assistance) represents a national network of service providers, who work in repairing damage to homes, with national coverage, supported by Saint-Gobain’s know-how. The company has around 150 employees, a headquarters and a distribution branch and more than 130 Glassdrive centers distributed from North to South of Portugal and the Islands.
