Beja will host, today and tomorrow, at the Pavilhão dos Sabores, the qualification for the World Arrows Championship.
This is an initiative promoted by the Association of Arrows of the District of Faro in partnership with the Beja City Council.
The partnership between the two entities arose due to the presence of an athlete from the association, in 2023, who represented the national team at the World Darts Championship in Frankfurt and the possibility of bringing this event to his homeland arose.
Players from all over the country and abroad are represented at the event, as well as arrows associations from Lisbon, Porto, Setúbal, Ribatejo, Aveiro, Zona Oeste and Algarve.
The teqball tournament that takes place tomorrow will feature the current national champions and also the presence of pairs that will represent teams from the municipality: Zona Azul, ACD Penedo Gordo, Despertar SC, Clube Desportivo de Beja and Conceição neighborhood.
The space has an area for children with inflatables, painting, balloon modeling and other activities.
