Vidigueira Vinho – Expects more than 40 Alentejo producers

More than 40 wine producers, mostly from Alentejo, but with representation from the Azores, Douro and Moldova, are present at the Wine Show, which includes the Vidigueira Vinho event, which takes place this weekend, from the 29th to the 31st. March, at the Vidigueira Multipurpose Pavilion.

Integrated into the strategy for promoting and enhancing the municipality’s wine sector, the event organized by Vidigueira City Council has a program made up of a wide range of activities that include, among others, Commented Tastings of Wines from Douro, Azores, Talha de Vidigueira, Moldova and Georgia.
In charge of Chefs João Mourato, Vitor Caos and João Engana, there are showcookings that aim to promote and enhance products and gastronomy, in partnership with Ricardo Monteiro and Ricardo Silva.

Alongside the initiatives presented, there are also exhibitions, sales of agri-food products, crafts and musical shows.
For today, Friday the 29th, Luís Simenta, 300 & Friends, fado singer Raquel Tavares and the group Los Romeros, among others, are expected. Tomorrow, Saturday, the 30th, some of the names on the bill will take to the stage, such as Los Chupitos, Matias Damásio and DJs Daniel K & Xinha. On Sunday the 31st, the program “Somos Portugal” on TVI will be recorded at the Vidigueira Vinho event.
