Background interventions at 2,3 Azeredo Perdigão and D. Duarte, in the parishes of Abraveses and Vil de Soito
The Viseu City Council today approved two projects, which will be submitted for candidacy, for the requalification of basic schools (EB) 2,3 Azeredo Perdigão and D. Duarte, in the parishes of Abraveses and Vil de Soito, respectively.
The renovation of the two schools, explained the mayor of Viseu, Fernando Ruas, will be “almost total, in terms of buildings” and an investment of more than seven million euros (ME) is planned.
The rehabilitation project of EB 2.3 Azeredo Perdigão has a base price of more than 3.4 ME, while that of EB 2.3 D. Duarte is more than 3.5 ME, specified the mayor.
According to the “Recuperar Portugal” website, “the School Recovery/Rehabilitation Program provides for the equipment of school infrastructures with digital means that contribute to the acquisition of skills in the field of digital transition. The aforementioned digital media, namely educational software/games, hardware, video projectors, will constitute basic equipment for the proper functioning of the school, in a logic of pedagogical practice and facilitation of the learning process and students’ experience in the subjects”.
