The Bank of Portugal will put into circulation a new 5 euro collector’s coin, called “100 Years of the Portuguese Skating Federation”on April 8th.

Distribution to the public will be carried out through credit institutions, Banco de Portugal treasuries and Imprensa Nacional – Casa da Moeda stores.

The “100 Years of the Portuguese Skating Federation” coin only has liberating power in Portugal and presents on the front, in the central field, three illustrative figures of recent disciplines of roller freestyle, inline freestyle It is skateboarding. At the top, on the left, there is the national shield, nthe upper left edge contains the legend “100 Years of the Portuguese Skating Federation”, inthe lower right edge has the author’s indication.

On the reverse it occupies the entire central field, three illustrative figures from the classic disciplines of figure skating, roller hockey and speed skating. On the left is the face value, nthe upper left edge contains the legend “República Portuguesa”, inthe lower right edge, the legend “Casa da Moeda” and the year “2024”.

The issuance limit of 30,000 coins with a normal finish has been set.
