Tosha Schareina, official rider of the Monster Energy Honda Team, was the fastest, with a time of 3m29s, with a two-second advantage over his teammate, Frenchman Adrien van Beveren. “It’s important to have a good starting position. The terrain was quite slippery, but I had a lot of fun and now I’m going to attack the selective selections in the afternoon”, said the Spaniard.

W2RC leader Ross Branch of Botswana set the third fastest time among RallyGP riders on the Hero Motorsports Rally Team bike. His teammate, Portuguese-German Sebastien Bühler, was fourth and Honda’s Pablo Quintanilla completed the top five.

Edgar Canet (KTM) was the fastest of the Rally2 drivers and third overall. The Spaniard was six seconds faster than South African Bradley Cox, from the Bas World KTM Racing Team. Portuguese Gonçalo Amaral led among Rally 3, with his Honda.

In the quads, Manuel Andujar recorded the best time of 3min 45s among the 10 quad riders and was two seconds faster than his Polish rival Kamil Wisniewski. Yamahas occupied the first four positions in the classification.

The prologue played this morning determined the starting order for the first two qualifiers that will be played today.
