Roxo Agro-Tourism: The fascination with the Land in Baixo Alentejo

In the heart of Baixo Alentejo, next to Albufeira do Roxo, there is Herdade Corte Ripais, in the same family for several decades, located in Santa Vitória, 18 km from the city of Beja. In 2015, Agro-Turismo do Roxo was born, a family project, thought out in detail, as explained by the owner, Ana Teresa do Ó. This project aimed to create tourism in rural areas, located in the Estate, with nine rooms, where simplicity combined with comfort make it a special place. Hand in hand with nature, the Estate itself, with around 500 ha, offers various activities, such as walks through the Alentejo plain, hunting, fishing and other water sports in Albufeira. The swimming pool, overlooking Albufeira, is ideal for relaxing on warmer days. This space, due to its geographical location, is ideal for those looking for contact with nature, in a calm and peaceful environment. Agro-Turismo do Roxo has a dining room for groups, increasingly focusing on family and company events. This Rural Tourism unit also provides its customers with typical meals (with prior booking) made with products from the Estate and the Region, where everyone who visits us can calmly taste the true flavors of typical Alentejo food.
