Accidents occurred on Estrada Nacional 16, in the Moselos area, and in Viso Norte (Ranhados)
Two collisions in the municipality of Viseu left six injured on Wednesday afternoon (3 April), all considered minor. More than 20 operatives were mobilized for the incidents, according to a source from the relief teams.
One of the collisions, on National Road 16 in the Moselos area, involved three vehicles and caused four injuries, including a 10-year-old child. The remaining victims, two men and a woman, are aged 19, 36 and 70. Due to the accident, the road is closed in both directions.
The alert for the accident was given at 4:54 pm, 14 operatives were mobilized to the scene, including Firefighters and Volunteers from Viseu, Firefighters from Public Safety from São Pedro do Sul, INEM and GNR, supported by six vehicles.
The other collision, in Viso Norte (Ranhados parish), involved two light vehicles and caused two injuries, aged 45 and 52. One of the victims was treated at the scene and refused transport, the other was taken to the hospital in Viseu. The road was conditioned.
The accident happened at 4:52 pm and 13 operatives were at the scene, from the Viseu Sapadores Firefighters, the Viseu and Mangualde Volunteer Firefighters, the Municipal Police and the GNR.
