Three men were held in pre-trial detention for being suspected of drug trafficking in Coimbra and two women were charged as part of the same operation, the GNR announced.
The GNR revealed that the Territorial Command of Coimbra, through the Criminal Investigation Center (NIC) of the Territorial Detachment of Coimbra, arrested three men, aged between 46 and 58, for trafficking between the 15th and Friday. of narcotics, in the municipality of Coimbra.
“Following an investigation into drug trafficking that had been going on for around nine months, the Guard soldiers carried out police investigations that culminated in the execution of an arrest warrant and three search warrants, two at homes and one at vehicles, which allowed seize” various material, namely 32 doses of cocaine, 29 doses of hashish, six cell phones and 135 euros in cash.
The operation was reinforced by the Intervention Detachment (DI) of the Coimbra Territorial Command, as well as with the support of the Public Security Police (PSP).
