As part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April, the exhibition “April 25th, 50 years for inclusion” is in block 1 of the Amares Secondary School, organized by Maria Afonso, with the collaboration of Teresa Barbosa, both teachers at the Special Education group and the Multidisciplinary Support Team for Inclusive Education (EMAEI) of AEAmares.

“This initiative aimed to point out the education sector as one that, certainly, underwent greater and more significant transformations, in the post-25 April 1974 period. The exhibition covers the evolution of the concepts of special education and inclusive education, referring to the most important milestones. in legislative and political terms that Portuguese society has suffered”, says the organization.

The exhibition can be visited by the entire educational community. “This work would not have been possible without the sponsorship of Printland, Casa Veloso and the person in charge of education, D. Cristina Almeida”, thanks professor Maria Afonso, who also leaves “special thanks to the students of the Technical Communication and Digital Service Course, professor at Atelier AmarArte and operational assistants from ESA”.
