Chain opened its fourth store in the municipality of Viseu, in São João da Carreira, where there is a restaurant with 75 seats
The Pingo Doce supermarket chain opened a new store yesterday (Tuesday, April 23) in São João da Carreira, on the Viseu-Sátão road. The space has 70 new jobs.
This is the fourth Pingo Doce store in Viseu, with an area of 1,350 square meters.
The company will focus on food with a restaurant with 75 seats that offers “a wide variety of dishes prepared in a traditional way and with the freshest ingredients to eat on site, order or take home with complete convenience” and offers meals such as duck rice, fritters, roast chicken and vegetarian options.
The store will also have a free-service cafeteria and bakery with hot bread throughout the day. The commercial space “benefits from natural light and a modern environment”, says a note from the chain.
“This opening reinforces Pingo Doce’s expansion and remodeling plan, which is implementing a new store concept, based on the centrality of Ready Food, Fresh Food and Service, characteristics that differentiate the brand”, he adds.
The new store also offers reusable bags and a filtered water refill station. Customers can also bring their own packaging and boxes to use in the delicatessen or take-away.
The store has 101 parking spaces, two stations for electric cars and a bicycle park.
