The 50th anniversary of April 25th has been marked in Monforte since the beginning of this month, and tomorrow, Thursday, the solemn ceremonies will take place, followed by the inauguration of some works that were underway in the municipality.
Thus, at 9.30 am, tomorrow, April 25th, the flags will be raised in the Town Hall, to the sound of the National Anthem, performed by the Orquestra Ligeira “Novas Melodias”.
At 10 am a Solemn session takes place in the Noble Hall of the Town Hall, followed by the inauguration of the Official Collection Center for Pet Animals, the Motorhome Park, the Prior’s House and a Monument commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April.
The celebrations continue on Friday, the 26th, at 9:30 pm, with the show “A Madrugada e o Dia Seguinte”, by Tuna Assumarense, in Assumar, at 9:30 pm.
On Saturday, the 27th, there will be rallies at 10 am and 3 pm, with Trupe Euterpe, in the morning in Vaiamonte and in the afternoon in Assumar.
At 9:30 pm the show “A Madrugada e o Dia Seguinte” is presented at the Centro Cultural de Santo Aleixo, a show that the following day, at the same time, takes to the stage at the Centro Cultural de Vaiamonte.
On Sunday, the 28th, in addition to this show, there will be a street party by Trupe Euterpe in Monforte and Prazeres, at 10 am and, at 3 pm, in Santo Aleixo.
