Resende Incubator Start is the municipality’s new business incubator

This Wednesday, April 24th, the Resende Business Association (AER) approved the RIS – Resende Incubator Start project.

Within the scope of the measure “Incubator Vouchers”AER developed a project that will “origin to the creation and promotion of the RIS incubator, strategically located at Quinta dos Sais, in Resende”and that you want “support entrepreneurs with ideas and entrepreneurs with startups in the process of sustained development of innovative ideas, providing them with support both for the creation and installation of the company, and for the acceleration of their business”.

With this innovative project, AER hopes to “contribute to greater entrepreneurial dynamism in Resende, countering the desertification trend of this low-density territory and increasing the potential to attract and retain talent”. Thus, measures will be created to “support for the establishment and growth of startups, namely through the development of training activities, awareness raising, mentoring, networking, support in the implementation of scalability projects and/or support in raising capital to finance their activities and operations”.

The incubator has already received recognition from Startup Portugal and belongs to RNI – Portugal Incubators, a network that “brings together and accredits incubators to professionalize the incubation ecosystem in Portugal”.
