The Parque Linear do Rio Pavia, in Viseu, will host the Trip festival this Saturday (27 April), which dedicates this year’s edition to the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April.

In what will be the third edition of the event in the city’s riverside area, a multidisciplinary program of activities is proposed, for all age groups, with an amphitheater made of recycled pallets as the stage.

“For one afternoon, the aim is to liven up the park next to the Pavia River, taking advantage of the scenic surroundings of the river banks as a natural setting for the presentation of the shows”, says the organization.

The program starts at noon, with the children’s workshop “Com que Direito?” guided by Joana Simões Piedade, who will reflect on children’s rights, and the opening of the Mercadinho Gastronomico with the participation of Associação Casa do Brasil. At 2:30 pm, the Banda de Santar street enters.

At 3pm, the performance “A Thousand and One Ways to Wake Up” will be presented with RIJu and Bernardo Chatillon. At 4:15 pm, Nuvem Voadora presents the show “A Fábrica das Gravatas”.

Rita Neves presents “Corpo Suspenso” at 5pm, followed by a conversation with the creator and Graça Marques Pinto moderated by Miguel Ramos at 5:30pm. An hour later, singer JP Simões will perform songs by José Mário Branco.
