Prospectus sent to CMVM

Benfica launched a new debt issuance operation, with the aim of guaranteeing at least 35 million euros.

According to the prospectus released by the Securities Market Commission (CMVM), the 2024-2027 loan will issue up to seven million bonds, with a unit value of 5 euros, which amounts to the intended 35 million euros, although this value can be increased until April 17th.

The offer includes a gross fixed interest rate of 5.1%, with repayment scheduled for April 23, 2027.

In addition to the public offering of new bonds, the prospectus also allows investors to exchange bonds from the 2021-2024 loan, which had a gross fixed interest rate of 4%, and whose repayment is scheduled for July 28 of this year.

Benfica’s SAD also has on the market the issue made in 2022/2025, of approximately 60 million euros, with interest of 4.6%, and the one for 2023/2026, of approximately 50 million euros, with interest of 5.75%.

Sporting recently launched a bond loan, which initially aimed to reach 30 million euros, but was later increased to 50 million euros, with an interest rate of 5.75%.
