The eco-market’s first edition of the year takes place this weekend and features two free workshops.
This Saturday and Sunday, April 27th and 28th, Parque da Paz hosts another edition of the Almada Green Market, this time dedicated to the celebration of spring. Among nature, visitors will discover cosmetics, crafts, food, ecological items and gardening projects that appeal to conscious consumption and contact between producers and consumers. It takes place between 10am and 6pm.
In addition to the market, this edition also promotes two workshops for a more sustainable world. “Spring Aromatherapy” introduces you to the essential oils that help deal with allergies typical of this season, explaining how they should be used for a calmer season. It will take place at 3pm on Saturday, and will be hosted by Miristica vegan biocosmética.
On Sunday, at 10:30 am or 11:30 am, visitors will be able to touch the earth with “Plantar Leguminosas”, learning how to plant lettuce and cabbage and exchanging ideas on how to have a healthier diet. Promoted by Let it Bee, the workshop encourages conscious consumption and good environmental practices.
The initiative takes place on the last weekend of each month as long as the weather permits, in the largest urban park in the municipality. The organization is in charge of Mizuca, Oficina de Things, in partnership with the Almada City Council.
