Portimonense lost 0-2 against Moreirense, in a game from the 31st round of the I Football League, played this Sunday, April 28th, in Portimão. The Algarve were better, but were unable to gain the three points and jump out of the relegation play-off zone.

Moreirense started the match better and scored in the 16th minute, through Matheus Aiás. The move ended up being disallowed due to Camacho being offside at the beginning of the play.

Portimonense managed to balance the match from that moment on and even scored… but the goal was also invalidated. Carlinhos hit a free kick to the left, but Tamble, who was offside, got the ball and the goal didn’t count (30′).

In the second half, the Algarvians dominated the match and, in addition to a possible penalty that led the referee to consult the VAR, they had another goal disallowed. This time, it was Alemão, in the 69th minute, who scored with a header to the delight of the Portimonense fans.

The party didn’t last long because the central defender was offside.

Against the run of play, it was Moreirense who scored, in the 76th minute, through Maracás, with a header. Portimonense felt the goal a lot and would concede another, already in added time, from João Camacho’s hat without a chance for Nakamura.

The Algarve team have the same 28 points and are in 16th place. In the next round, Portimonense visits Sporting.
