The Polytechnic Institute of Viseu (IPV) recently participated in the general assembly of the European university EUNICE, of which the higher education institution is part. The vice-president of IPV, João Vinhas, was at the meeting that took place in Germany and brought together the ten partners that make up Eunice.
In his intervention, the leader said that “the future of education belongs to everyone” through EUNICE and being part of this consortium.
Recalling that EUNICE is “very important at a European level”, João Vinhas mentioned the IPV motto and adapted it to the European university, saying that “the world can be seen from EUNICE”.
As the Polytechnic points out in a note, the agenda during the general assembly “was diverse and comprehensive” with workshops and meetings “with many discussions and the exchange of experiences and ideas that contributed to the advancement of the alliance”.
The European University for Personalized Education (EUNICE) was created in 2020 as a transnational alliance made up of seven public universities. In 2022, the alliance was extended to IPV and two other educational institutions.
