GNR | Weekly operational activity

The Faro Territorial Command, in addition to its daily activity, carried out a series of operations, in the district of Faro, in the week of April 22nd to 28th, which aimed to prevent and combat violent crime, road inspection, among others, recording the following operational data:

1. 
   Arrests: 49 detainedhighlighting:

• Five for drug trafficking;
• Nine for driving without a legal license;
• Nine for driving under the influence of alcohol.

2. 
   Seizures:

• 10,069 doses of cocaine;
• 5114 doses of heroin;
• Five doses of hashish;
• Four cell phones.

3. 
   Traffic:

Oversight: 411 infractions detectedhighlighting:

• 135 for speeding;
• 39 due to lack of mandatory periodic inspection;
• 29 related to anomalies in lighting and signaling systems;
• 16 for improper use of a cell phone while driving;
• Ten due to lack of or incorrect use of a seat belt and/or child restraint system;
• Nine due to lack of civil liability insurance.

Accident ratio: 130 accidents registeredhighlighting:

• One dead;
• Two seriously injured;
• 23 slightly injured.
