The Vila Real District Command of the Public Security Police (PSP), in its area of jurisdiction, arrested six individuals, three for driving a vehicle without a legal license, two for driving a vehicle while drunk and one for compliance arrest/conviction warrant.
In terms of road inspection, several operations were carried out and several drivers were subjected to alcohol testing.
With regard to road accidents, in the week between April 22nd and 29th, 18 road accidents were recorded, resulting in six minor injuries.
The PSP calls on all drivers to “respect the rules of the highway code and other legislation in force, as well as orders issued by police authorities” and also warns drivers to “not adopt risky behavior while driving and to adhere to the same, both to the conditions of the floor and to the atmospheric conditions observed at the time”.
