This Wednesday and Thursday, May 1st and 2nd, the Tivoli Theater in Lisbon hosts “Para Semper Marco”: the premiere of the new project by Tiago Pais Dias, musician from Amor Electro, who decided to pay homage and revisit Marco Paulo’s music , giving it a new look, with a more current touch.
At the heart of the initiative and the show is the single “Maravilhoso Coração”, but the majority of the Portuguese popular singer’s vast repertoire is targeted and celebrated here.
On stage, “Para sem Marco” presents itself as the result of a team of musicians and producers, with a common goal: “to honor Marco’s legacy in an authentic and relevant way for current generations”. The team includes Jessica Cipriano and Andrea Verdugo on vocals, as well as Nuno José (drums), Carlos Santos (bass), Ricardo Vasconcelos (from Amor Electro, on keyboards) and Tiago Pais Dias, on guitar and musical direction. The participation of special guests is also expected.
At Teatro Tivoli, the opening night of “Para sem Marco”, on May 1st, was sold out, and a second date was scheduled, May 2nd, with tickets on sale, between €15 and €25.
