Discover Amarante Cine-Teatro’s schedule for the month of May

Amarante Cine-Teatro presented the shows that will be presented during the month of May.

Luís Osório shows the show “Secret Files”, on May 3rd, at 9:30 pm. For 90 minutes, the author will take the audience on a journey through the last Portuguese century and through the lives of some of the protagonists who marked our time. Tickets cost 7.50 euros.

On May 5th, the Jangada theater company will present the play “Cheese and guava”. It is a deeply serious comedy, able to avoid the disastrous outcome it inflicted on the two lovers. To watch from 6pm. Tickets cost five euros.

The Orquestra do Norte returns to the Amarante Cine-Teatro, on May 11th, starting at 9:30 pm. Under the direction of conductor Fernando Marinho and with a special participation by Martim Pereira, winner of the Orquestra do Norte/Conservatório de Música do Porto 2023 Prize, on the piano, Orquestra do Norte will provide the public with “Chopin’s Romanticism”. Tickets cost five euros.

Dance “The Inescapable Cascade of Any Odd Event” by Companhia Intranzyt Cia will perform on May 17th, starting at 9:30 pm, with tickets costing ten euros.

On May 25th, Sara Correia takes over the stage for a sold-out show.
