After the success of the first two editions (2022 and 2023), the Médio Tejo region returns this year to promoting the Sports Congress, an initiative that aims to bring together dozens of experts from the most diverse branches of the field. In 2020, the municipalities of Abrantes, Alcanena, Constância, Entroncamento, Mação, Torres Novas and Vila Nova da Barquinha will be joined by Ferreira do Zêzere, Ourém and Tomar, for a total of 11 municipalities.
The event, which is free to attend, aims to provide a geography for exchanging knowledge to enhance skills in the sporting area in the Middle Tagus territory. The program includes the participation of specialist speakers from different disciplines, who combine experiences and examples in areas such as justice, ethics, health and well-being, society or the associative movement in the sporting context, providing moments of debate and sharing of knowledge.
