The Polytechnic of Viana do Castelo will organize INICIA – Job Fair in its six Higher Schools, between May and June.

INICIA starts on Wednesday, at the Escola Superior de Ciências Empresariais, in Valença, followed by a journey through the professions through the remaining IPVC Schools.

The challenge is launched by the Polytechnic of Viana do Castelo to the student community: a journey through the professions of the future, actively participating in experiences in the many areas of IPVC training. It is also the time and place to learn about new opportunities in the job market, mapping interests, skills and potential.

Unlike previous years, the Polytechnic of Viana do Castelo promotes a Job Fair in each of its six Higher Schools. From Valença to Melgaço, from Ponte de Lima to Viana do Castelo, it is with INICIA that the Polytechnic of Viana do Castelo opens its doors to the region’s main companies.

With the growing demand for qualified professionals in various sectors, the Polytechnic of Viana do Castelo is moving forward with INICIA, which serves as a networking and recruitment platform, giving students the possibility to explore career options and establish contacts with potential employers.

THE STARTS – IPVC Job Fair starts next Wednesday, at the Escola Superior de Ciências Empresariais (ESCE-IPVC), in Valença. This is an excellent opportunity for students to have close and personalized contact with the world of work and, particularly, with companies operating in the areas of marketing and communication, accounting and taxation, business management and organization or of logistics.

But more than a Job Fair, INICIA is an opportunity for the academic community to learn more about creating an attractive CV, simulate job interviews or participate in a personal and professional marketing session. Actions taking place in the morning.

This Wednesday, INICIA continues in the afternoon, with a session on non-verbal language and micro-expressions and effective pitch preparation, followed by Emprego à Mesa, an initiative more aimed at final year students at the Escola Superior de Ciências IPVC companies.
